when standard joomla sef urls are on the url for ace search is component/acesearch/ is it possible to change the acesearch part with something else without using acesef or another component but just standard joomla?

Hi ive installed wishlists in to my virtuemart which have links like this

index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=90&func=wishlistAddItem&page=wishlist.add_item
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&wishlist_id=1&page=shop.cart&func=wishlistAddtocart
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54&page=wishlist.index
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&wishlist_id=1&page=wishlist.index&func=wishlistDelete
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&wishlist_id=1&page=wishlist.share&func=wishlistShare

none of the links are sef but they do work which is fine

but the link to view the wishlists for the user index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54&page=wishlist.index generates a link that doesnt work

my questions is

is there a way to bypass sef links on these urls
or
can the virtuemart extention be moded to make them work
