version 1.1.1 - category blog layout 1 Week ago Karma: 0
hi there,

I just uninstalled v 1.1.0 and installed v 1.1.1 and there are a few things not looking the way they did before:

menu item 'news' / category blog layout

my 3 test items are displayed as
page title is being displayed
leading: 1
columns: 2

however I have set in menu item news:
display page title is disabled
leading:0
intro:10
column:1

what am I overlooking? Cat Blog Layout

still while it was working properly with aceSEF 1.1.0 installed its messed up with aceSEF 1.1.1

and I didnt change anything but uninstlling v 1.1.0 and installing 1.1.1

in addition disabling aceSEF is fixing the issue

thus aceSEF is the reason for it
see the image below Cat Blog Layout Ace Enabled

Here I 've just installed a clean Joomla! and AceSEF 1.1.1, you can check category layout, blog layout or frontpage :

that's not anyhow helpful I'm afraid

clean install of Joomla an Ace is not what I did

I have a J! installation with several extension , had version 1.1.0 installed which I uninstalled and had installed 1.1.1

while none of the probs mentioned
blog-layout
list layout
weblinks
pathway
page title
existed with 1.1.0 with 1.1.1 they do exist

when disabling aceSEF 1.1.1 none of the problems exist

does its obviously to do with ace

its a Rockettheme template

however since it worked fine with version 1.1.0 why should it be related to the template that its not working any more in version 1.1.1?

what should be the reasoning for that?

I have page titles disabled with pretty much all menu items including frontpage

works fine without AceSEF

however as soon as I enable AceSEF 1.1.1 they all are being displayed

any settings in menu manager differing from default are being ignored as soon as I enable AceSEF 1.1.1

I set filters to hide
they don't show as is but with AcesSEF 1.1.1 enabled they are being displayed

I set table headings to hide
works as is but with AcesSEF 1.1.1 enabled they are being displayed

I set blog layout to e.g. 0 leading, 1 column, 10 intro
that layout works fine as long a I don't enable Ace but as soon as I do the default settings are 'being forced' for display: 1 leading article, 2 columns etc

hi there,

in list layout I noticed that while usually the 'write new' is an image (new.png located in images/m-images)

once AceSEF is enabled I merely see a hyperlinked 'new'; see the screenie attached New Article

Non of these issues are comming accross me on local and live sites. I also checked the code part and nothing seems wrong, we've not changed anything related with these issues from version 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 so I cant say anything else than try to change your template.

Since it works on ALL my local and web sites and no one but you is having this issue why should it be related with AceSEF?

You can try yourself on another site, local or web.

As I said, try to change your template, clean the cache.

because there is no such problem when disabling AceSEF.

anyways I contacted the developer of my site template to find out of its outdated or if there are any known conflicts
