after having dealt with config. installed the free extensions for cb and uddeim, having done some adjustments in extension config and router config I now went to the url reposiotry

in doing so I get the following error twice:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ../libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

followed by an empty table

could you please point out what's causing it and how to fix it?

had checked this before: the tables had been created; tables extension & routers have 12 & 13 rows respectively while the urls table is empty (was already before purging)

and those errors have disappeared now ... hmmm! not sure why since the tables were there before?

anyways there is now a single entry in the repository table - frontpage. only on user side I get this direct access not allowed error

any news on how to fix this?

I don't have problems accessing backend nor do I need legacy mode for any extension installed.
the acces problem is solely with frontend

what do you mean? does aceSEF require legacy mode?



ETA:

well since I just received the message about the new release I uninstalled version 1-0-6.
only after an uninstall error that didn't get into any details whatsoever (folders in components and admin have been deleted as well as the 3 tables)
I am now unable to installe either version.
I get sql errors with both of them. and that did happen during installation is the creation of the 3 tables however they are empty and none of the folders is present.

Nop, not AceSEF but any other extension that you've installed seems that is 1.5 compatible but it isnt. Of course that it's not AceSEF, if so you will recieve "Restricted access " as error message not your. You can try it on a clean Joomla and AceSEF installation.

Installation issue has been fixed.
