neat! legacy mode is indeed required for something. all is working fine without seo enabled thus I'm a bit confused

do you happen to have an idea if joomgallery or pollxt require legacy mode? haven't seen it mentioned nor do I see anything in backend

anyways now that I can - at least do far - see the frontend I have a couple questions:

1) Ive enabled displaying the ID with articles (content extension) and they show as
/ID-article-title

what would I need to edit to get it adjusted to
/ID/article-title ?

2) in weblink extension I have disabled displaying link ID/ category ID but the category ID is still there

2a) currently all the links in weblink component are being displayed as
www.mysite.com/links/category/link name

is there any way to adjust that for the actual url of the link?

i.e. if I wanted to add a link to aceSEF I have:
www.mysite.com/links/category/aceSEF
but what I'd like to see in statusbar is
www.joomace.net
any chance I can?

in routers

1) I noticed that com_banners is lsited twice. can I delete one of them?

2) while I've added 'private-messages' for uddeim I still see 'uddeim' after save & purge

3) while I've added 'profile' for CB what I see is
- usermenu link: the name of the menu item is used
'your-profile' instead of profile
- edit profile: displayed as your-profile/userdetails instead of profile/userdetails
- when going to another user's profile I see
your-profile/userprofile/


amd if I now go to url repository I again see the error I've at first seen with v1-0-6

checking my db confirms that since #__acesef_urls is also empty

Yes, all you issues are caused by your DB, records are not saved in DB.

I have myblog, jomcomment, joomgallery, pollxt, community builder, uddeim and a bunch of associated plugins and modules installed and all of them are working fine

also just for testing I submitted a screenshot (joomgallery) , a blog entry (myblog) and signed a guestbook (cb) all without any probs. thus there couldn't possibly be a prob with the db itself or the connection to it could it?

the adjustment for url instead of title is not quite working as expected/ desired:

I get:
www.mysite.com/links/category/http/wwwsomesitecom

as opposed to the desired:
www.somesite.com

I do not have the extension yet but it looks like there would be 2 itemIDs necessary for overriding - the component's is used for the component link and for blogger pages while the one of the dashboard (adminhome) requires using its own.

and yet another question:


CB:

since there can be at least two menu items with CB, the component link in user menu and a link to a memberlist any chance the extension config could be adjusted for overriding the itemID/ entering menu itemID of both the component and the memberlist? if I use the component's itemID for the memberlist its pathway would show up as home * profile instead of home * members
