SEO tab problem 4 Days, 20 Hours ago Karma: 0
Hello
I am your new paid member. I have a problem with SEO tab
Meta Description and keywords are working for the articles I created in K2, but not in articles which were created by default Joomla Article Manager.
these fields are empty there
can you help me to find out what is the problem and how can it be fixed?

Hi Linda,

1. What is you K2 version?
2. Go to AceSEF=>Extensions=>K2=>Meta Tags and check if Enable meta title, description and keywords options are enabled.

Best Regards

Hi, can add to this list.

With all three parameters checked to yes or no either, always meta-title tag is produced, meta-description and mety-keywords not.

I'm using version 1.1.2 with the Content (Articles) extension for AceSEF 1.0.3

Hi,

Do you fill the introtext of the articles?

Best Regards

What do you mean by "intro"-text?

I filled the only text-field I have with my content and assume, that keywords and description will be taken from there.

Am I wrong?

No you're not wrong. With intro-text I mean the part before you add the REad More part.

Ok, I wasn't precisely enough - as I can see now.

My problem is not really a single content-page. What I actually should have talked about is a page that is filled from a category blog.

So I tried filling the description of the category itself. But - there is still no description in the meta.

Bernhard

ps: I can see a red-figured version 1.0.4 with one of my extensions. But seem not to be able to download with the given link at my purchse today. Any hint?

Have you purged URLs after entering description to the category?

Here you can download the new version:
