Hello again, Dennis(and sorry to bother!)

Not sure if I have something wrong with the settings but I noticed this happening when creating groups:

index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=2&groupid=133&task=created&view=groups

and

index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=2&groupid=133&task=viewgroup&view=groups

both become:

groups/characters/daken.html

What happens is the URL gets stuck on the group creation page and the user cannot navigate to the groups front page. The problem is easily solved by intervening and using the correct URL but is there any way to automatically create a different URL for two non-SEF urls in the settings?

I had that problem with JomSocial 1.2x now I've upgraded to 1.5 and some additional problems appear I'm wondering how I can fix.

Now that users can create albums for specific groups rather than just user albums the group photo's SEF URLs overlap with the user photo's SEF URLs resulting in the albums being posted to wrong group and photos being uploaded to wrong album.

Also there is a JomSocial fire sharing extension. Duplicate URLs are created for both the download url of the file and the actual file manager where the user can upload the file resulting in the browser prompting the user to save or open the file rather than take them to the URL of the file manager.

It doesn't seem that I am able to "use" a specific URL for this in the acesef backend because the URL needs to be specific to the user. Is there a way I can work around this problem you think?

The File Sharing program for Jom Social is working great now.

I haven't tried creating a new group yet but am still having similar problems with group photos.

Instead of all group photo album pages being photo.html can it be re-written to groupname/photo.html? I have absolutely no idea what that means for development but from my perspective as an AceSEF customer it would solve the problem of duplicate URLs while still giving a really nice looking SEF URL.

I'll post again once I try out the group creation URLs with a few key members.

So far so good with group creation on my end.

I DID notice a pagination issue however. When going through any of the browse sections on jomsocial instead of the paging going "page-2.html", "page-3.html" the numbers increase by larger integers than 1. So "page-2.html" is "page-36.html" and "page-3.html" is "page-59.html" and so on and so forth. This is not happening in kunena ext which is paginating perfectly, but is happening in the jomsocial user pages, application browse pages etc...

The problem personally doesn't bother me. I just rename the page numbers in the URL repository.
