Hi Denis, it-s me again, sorry
But when I click "Extensions" the only option I have is to upload an extension.
The list of the extensions installed does not appear and I am not able to open an extension parameter... as described page 6 of documentation.

Hi,
You should have surfed to the page 2,3 etc in anohter place of Joomla then came to Extensions page but because of you do not have page 2,3 the page is empty.
So, go to Articles or AceSEF URL Repository then jump to page 1 then go to Extensions.
Best Regards

AceSEF Breaks Button URL 5 Days, 21 Hours ago

Hi,
I installed AceSEF and the VirtueMart extension on a VirtueMart site using the RocketTheme Mynxx theme. I ran into a problem, and I eventually realized that AceSEF is the cause (not the VM extension).
The site has a dropdown shopping cart in the top bar. That cart has a "Show Cart" button that should link to the full VM cart page. However, with AceSEF active, that link often results in a 404 error.
You can try it here:
www.codecsunlimited.com/joomace/
Add some items to the cart, then click the cart in the top bar to see the dropdown. If you click the "Show Cart" button, the results will be very different.
The "Show Cart" button should have the same URL every time it is clicked. But AceSEF seems to generate a different URL depending on what the active page is. This behavior makes the button unreliable.
Here is a site where AceSEF is not installed, and the button works properly:
www.codecsunlimited.com/cu-site/
I think the button is coded with a relative URL, however I don't know why AceSEF changes the URL for the button. Is there a way to solve this? Otherwise, I cannot use AceSEF on this site, because the cart must be reliable.
Thanks!
Mark
P.S. The forum shows me as a non-customer but I did already buy the VM extension. I will also pay for AceSEF (to remove the copyright) if I can resolve this issue.

Thank you for the effort, however the new version does not work. You can check it yourself at the URL:
www.codecsunlimited.com/joomace/
Again, add something to the cart and then open the cart and click the button. You will see that the URL is different for the button.
I do not believe that the problem is in the VirtueMart extension, as the problem happens with or without the extension installed. I think the problem is in the AceSEF component in general. Without AceSEF, the problem does not exist.
The problem seems to be that the cart button is hard coded with a relative URL (/virtuemart...). That URL should be relative to the root level of the site. But, when AceSEF is installed, the URL changes to be relative to whatever page is active when the button is clicked. This should not be...the URL should be the same every time the button is clicked.
Perhaps there is some override or something I can set in AceSEF. No matter what, I need to resolve this ASAP.
Thanks.

Followup. I seem to have corrected the problem by changing a setting in the extension. I will continue to test, and to check other links (checkout, etc.). But, for now, the problem seems to be fixed.

The issue is totally related with the URL type of that Cart button, it seems a relative URL but it should be an absolute URL.
To do, find where this URLs is generated (module, template etc.) then make the URLs absolute.
