I am having trouble setting up acesef for use with community builder. I do not feel like I need extensive customization for my site however I need one thing in particular. The community builder extension makes the urls for my user's profile's www.domain.com/[alias]/userprofile/[username].html Or maybe I should say, that is how joomla's sef makes my url. I need the url to remove any sort of identification of the user which would be the username. So a preferable url would be www.domain.com/[custom-phrase]/[userid].html

I have tried to set this up multiple different ways with no success using the community builder extension provided by acesef. I did see where I could customize the url individually from the urls tab in acesef, but isn't that then only effective for that 1 url and not ALL user profiles? How can I make a custom url like this for ALL user profiles?

Thank you very much for any support you can provide. I realize I am only using the free version now, however that is only to find if it suits my needs. I am willing to pay for a good product if it fits my application.

Plz write an example of Real & SEF URLs and how you want SEF URL to be done. What is [custom-phrase] ?

-"hire-a-bartender" comes from the community builder list menu alias. I can customize this by using the "menu item edit" page in joomla and changing the alias.
- "userprofile" comes from community builder or joomla and I can't seem to get rid of it.
-"kelleigh" comes from the username of the user. I need to remove this for privacy reasons of some of the users

- "hire-a-bartender" is the [custom phrase] I was referring to in my previous post. It can be constant for all user profiles.
-"433" is the userid of the user from community builder.

My main goal is to have a somewhat keyword optimized url by adding in a phrase such as "hire-a-bartender" and then only showing the userid so that their username is not displayed. Thank you very much for your time.

I made the change as you want for user id, but I do not understant how "userprofile" is added in links. Plz try this extension now.##text##

Thank you very much. Did you just remove the option for username or name from the parameters of the extension? That is what it appears you did. My url is now:
www.bartendmyparty.com/hire-a-bartender/userprofile/169.html

Which works just fine for me. I wish I could remove that "userprofile" but it is not nearly as critical as me removing the username... Thank you.

I still have to mess with it a bit to become familiar, but thanks for the mod.

I checked the extension many times and I discussed with Denis this issue, but unfortunately we could not found the reason of "userprofile". Can you plz send a super admin account to support[at]joomace.net? Let's see this issue.

I was able to remove the "userprofile" by setting it up with AceSEF Extension instead of AceSEF Basic router. I consider problem solved, if you still would like to see the backend of things let me know and I'll send you access. Thank you.
