I have several products in virtuemart where the character "/" appears in the name.

example: xenon-h4-100/90w-12v-bulb

AceSEF produces the following URL:

www.website.com/automotive-bulbs/xenon-h4-100/90w-12v-bulb

The problem is that the "/" in the product name puts "/" in the URL and as such the URL returns a 404.

How do I tell AceSEF to replace all occurrences of "/" in virtuemart product / category names with "-" instead?

Any ideas? I am afraid of using character replacement function as it could strip out all the valid "/" from the url?

Have you tried to entre "/" into AceSEF=>Configuration=>URLS=>Advanced=>Strip characters ?

Yes, but this causes an issue as follows:

It replaces the valid "/" which seperates categories.

Example, the URL should look like this:

www.url.com/category1/subcategory2/subcategory3/productname

when using the strip character feature the url then looks like this:

www.url.com/category1subcategory2subcategory3productname
