Hi,

I've set everything right in the global confirguation. mod_rewrite and sef urls to yes.
Renamed my htaccess.
The backend component doesn't give any errors but the frontend doesn't give sef urls!
Anything else I need to do? it worked before but since k2 was giving problems I removed the htaccess file for a while, now using it again it doesn't work.

Tried to reinstall the component too but didn't help.

What do you exactly mean with "removed the htaccess file for a while"? Did you deleted it?
Have you cleaned your caches?

Yes for a few days to solve some K2 issues. Put the same file back now , cleaned the cache but doesn't work.

I reinstalled it again. Made sure all the tables in my database were gone (also the backup tables). Reinstalled the component, no luck.
It's really weird so I really need help on this one!

Delete the .htaccess file
Get a new/clean htaccess.txt file and upload it via FTP
Rename it to .htaccess

Did that already a couple of times with no effect

Could you plz paste here a screenshot of the "SEF Status" slider from AceSEF=>Control Panel?
