I updated to your latest version of aceSEF and Today I man a bunch of changes and needed to update SEF URLs. I hit the button to generate and the light box appeared. "Generating URLs" was there for about 8 minutes then the light box displayed "Internet Explorer cannot display this page" I closed the light box and refreshed the page. Nothing happened. I went to site/administrator/index.php in both FireFox and IE, blank page. Went to home in both IE and FF, nothing, blank page.

I left the site for 2 hours and still nothing.

I really could use some help.

Plz, when describing a problem, always remember to state the versions of software components (AceSEF, Joomla, PHP, MySQL - don't say latest, number plz) you are using (all that may be related to problem).
Also, write maximum information describing the problem, such as full error outputs, behaviour, server type (UNIX/Linux or Windows), SEF & Real URLs, screenshots, confirmation that SEF URLs working as expected using the core Joomla SEF etc.

AceSEF 1.5.4
Joomla 1.5.20
PHP 5.2
MySQL, not sure
I am not sure what else describes the issue that I am having. As stated above. I hit the button to generate new SEF URs and the light box appeared.

The behavoir was, the page could not load. Blank page, both at the root and trying to log into the admin interface.

The site is built on a Virtual Dedicated server running CentOS 5. I had rebooted the server not too long ago, but have needed to contact someone at the hosting company to manually restart the server. The site is under construction, but can be found at 173.201.185.14

The site is now back up after the restart and appears to be "working" but there are some links that do not work, or go to a 404 page. They just time out.

While I am writing this, again, the pages are now just blank, even the home page.

To answer your question about mySQL it is version 5.0.77

If I navigate to a menu it and hit f5, after the 5th or sixth try the page does display as expected (not blank like the screen shot I sent) Trying to provide details as requested.

OK, I just replied to another post but wanted to update here. I uninstalled the PAID aceSEF extension for Virtuemart and now everything works..... Is there a new version of the paid virtuemart extension I need to install?

Sorry, my PHP version is 5.1.6, I was thinking about something else when I said 5.2.

So, after being very frustrated and playing around with settings for hours, I changed the configuration setting for "Main => Instant Cache => No". It was yes. The server is a Virtual Dedicated server with 512 RAM so I would have thought I could use this setting (as it was set to yes with version 1.5.3) I have 191 SEF URLs, 1853 Metadata, 2374 Sitemap, and 848 Tags. The tip on the instant Cache settings says 4000 records. Would like to clear some of this out, but at this point I am hesitant as everthing is now working.....
