Hi all

Please explain me why after 24 hours the main menu is becoming crazy?

For instance my website name is "nameofthesite.com" and pressing on "home" bring normally to www.nameofthesite.com until it's replaced with nameofthesite.com (without www) or the IP itself or, even worst, the alias domain name I also have like name-of-the-site.com or nameofthesite.net (this is the most ennoying since I dont like the idea of people bookmarking the site with alias name).

This goes until I purge all the links with the Purge/update option of AceSEF.

then it's ok for another 20-24 hours, then starts again messing up the home link.

This is not a normal behaviour of AceSEF:
- Have you tried this with AceSEF off and core Joomla SEF on?
- Could you plz provide us your versions info: www.joomace.net/support/forums?func=rules
- Have you tried to set to "No" the AceSEF=>Configuraiton=>Generate new SEF URLs option?

My version is 1.5.6 (can't update to 1.5.9 as explained in an other thread).

I have not tried yes setting "Generate new SEF URLs" to "no". If I do so, what will happen to the page that have not been visited yet? Remember that I have to purge almost daily and I don't think all pages (more than 2200 so fare) are being seen in that time frame.

What do you mean with "AceSEF off and core Joomla SEF on"? Should I do that for a short while when the problem occurs and set it back right away?

Plz, turn off AceSEF and check this with Joomla core SEF for 1 day.

If I do that the site wont work properly since all my DHMLMenu are based on SEF links. I must also say that before using ACESEF I used 404SEF and never encountered that problem.
