I'm using AceSEF 1.5.12 and JomSocial 1.5.3 extension. At the beginning, consider the case where AceSEF (and JomSocial extension) is not installed.

When I put userid parameter as parameter without any string to URI string (In Example "index.php?option=com_community&view=friends&userid="), JomSocial Router takes value for userid from currently authenticated user. This solution allows me to create my own Joomla menu, using "external link" in Menu Manager, customizable to currently authenticated user.

With AceSEF and JomSocial extension I lose this possibility. In above Example, AceSEF generates URL like "friends.html?userid=". I wrote a patch, that should fix this problem. I sent it to support@joomace.net.

I forgot that these links also should have task parameter (with values like mygroups, myphotos, myvideos and myevents).

I tested this patch with links such as generated by /components/com_community/libraries/toolbar.php (JomSocial Toolbar) with userid parameter (My Friends, My Groups, My Photos, My Videos and My Events). The results are desirable and are the same in both the Joomla Menu and JomSocial Toolbar. So I think the patch should work correctly.

Summarizing link like "'index.php?option=com_community&view=groups&task=mygroups&userid='. $my->id" (generated by toolbar.php) has the same effect as link "index.php?option=com_community&view=groups&task=mygroups&userid=" (generated by Joomla Menu).
