There's one issue with this excellent component that is very nearly a break point for me...that's the fact that it reads and writes single site specific data (eg site name) to a config file in the core admin component folder.

I run a multisite installation using symbolic links to centralise core Joomla resources including the admin/components folder. This means that ALL my sites must share a single AceSEF config file!

I understand the efficiency reasons for doing this, and here are a couple potential solutions that still allow for them...

1. Store the configuration.php file in a /media/acesef/ folder.
2. Database-ify at least the site specific configs such as Site Title.
3. Database-ify all config params currently in configuration.php and if required for optimisation, cache the settings to a file in /cache/acesef/

Thanks for developing such a professional and thorough component. I do hope this change will be considered. It may be a bit rare but not unheard of (extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...ments/multiple-sites)...
