Hi all,
I'm having the same problem as this post:

the way they solved it was by uninstalling/reinstalling aceSEF however I'm afraid if I do that I will lose all my cutstom URLS, metadata etc...

can anyone shed some light on the situation? My aceSEF install has not functioned correctly since the 1.5.3 upgrade was rolled out. I have had very little help from the support ticket system (just one sentence answers like "check this article") *joomace people* I'm not complaining simply giving my honest account of what my experience has been thus far for your paid product.

again, will uninstall/reinstall wipe my custom data? why did this happen in the first place? I have a very standard Joomla (1.5.21) and server set up.

Have applied all requests of that topic?
This is an issue I can't reproduce so opening a ticket with login details will help us.

hi denis,
I'm pretty sure I entered login info for you guys when I opened the ticket oct 2nd. isn't that part of the open ticket process?

either way, I've updated the ticket with a new reply containing login info for you guys. please have a look. I really need to get this running. this update has been a tough one.

hopefully you can get me to the newest version (without losing my custom data) and we'll go from there.
