A suggestion for those having trouble with group URLs in AceSef 1.5 with JomSocial Extension 1.5.2

The view group AND create group group URL are identical. So after creating a group, if you try to then view it, you are brought to the created group screen. Users would not be able to access their group!

So if you don't know how to modify the extension router to make a distinct URL for created and view groups (I do not then I suggest adding:

task=created

to the disable sef variables screen in the Jomsocial extension for AceSef.

Otherwise, Acesef 1.5 is excellent with Jomsocial

The same is happening by creating events. Is there a fix for this issue...? I bought acesef plus and jomsocial extension, so it should work properly.

Plz provide us Real & SEF URLs for this, and also describe how SEF URLs should be.

Not sure about events but for groups, when a group Test is created with this URL:

index.php?option=com_community&view=groups&task=created&groupid=26&Itemid=185

it is assigned the URL: network/groups/general-nephrology/test for the success page for group creation. However, when you select 'View Group' that you just made, the URL is the same for the following real URL:

index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=185&groupid=26&task=viewgroup&view=groups

So I have been disabling SEF on 'view=created' and therfore the duplicate won't occur.

I suppose the user above has the same issue on events.

Open JomSocial extension that you downloaded from us and then open com_community.php file. Go to line 171 and delete it. Save the file and install again, do not forget to delete old links with "task=created". Take a look at the image.

Thanks for your assistance, With the newest version of the extension: when i created a new event the sef url don't exist and getting a 404 error in the browser. This is an example of a url of an event: www.b2bcontact.nl/algemeen/overig/test?eventid=112 (i also purged and deleted)

Even the other existing url's of events don't work..

I assume i don't have to delete 'task=created' in the lates version? Couldn't find it on line 171..

Can you plz open a ticket and provide us a super admin account? Let's see this issue.
