I made this change and there is no apparent effect. I still get a 404 with the following URL:

192.168.100.160 /download-area/downloadrequest&download_id=XXXXX

Ok, it looks like you are very busy and therefore I am going to have to fix this myself. I don't want to give up on AceSEF but I would really appreciate it if you could give me some tips as to how I might debug this.

What is your reasoning for the suggested change above? Is there any way I can find out what the correct download URL is with AceSEF switched on? Is there any way I can add some logging or print outs to the code?

The best soution is to renew the order details file, do you know which is this file (I dont)?

After this action the URLs that contain download-id will be non-SEF, have you Purged URLs after this action?

The issue consists that if the URL is non-SEF func=downloadRequest&download_id=XXXXXX is OK but if it is SEF it should be:

downloadrequest?download_id=XXXXX

NOT

downloadrequest&download_id=XXXXX

Can you try this manually plz.
BTW, is the "Set QUERY_STRING" option set to Yes in AceSEF configuration?

I uninstalled and resinstalled acesef, made the change

$title[] = 'dosef_false';

all links were empty, but I purged anyway, and now all orders on the order page point to the shop, not the orders.

Also the link to the cart now points to the shop, so I cant get to the download link. Rebuilding routers and URLs produces the same dead links.

Set QUERY_STRING is set to Yes.
