Enable Version Checker
Set to NO if you have problems while browsing the Control PAnel & Extensions page. This accours when joomace.net website is down.

Lowercase URLs
If you select yes, all chars in sef urls will be lowercase. Otherwise, they will the same as original content title. For example, if the article title is “Team Members” and lowercase URL is no, the SEF URL will be “Team-Members.html”, otherwise, it'll be “team-members.html”

Numeral duplicated URLs
If set to yes, a numeral suffix will be added to duplicated urls like Artio Joomsef. Select “no” because Google doesn't like duplicated urls. You will be able to select main url from link management.

Record duplicated URLs
If set to Yes, Real URLs that yield the same SEF URL will be recorded. This will allow you to choose which one you prefer, assigning it as "Used".

URL Suffix
If it's blank, there won't be an suffix on sef links. Generally “.html” is used. If the article title is “Team Members” and the field is blank, the SEF URL will be: “team-members”. If you write “.html” the SEF URL will be “team-members.html” .

Replacement character
Character to use to replace unknown characters and space.

Menu URL part
You can use title or alias titles for menu URLs. Also, you can disable menu name in “Extensions” page. Make “Skip prefix / menu” = “No” for this.

Use Title or Alias
Use Title or Alias to generate URLs for components' categories and items. You can also set this from each extension parameters.

Joom!Fish

AceSEF supports JoomFish component that is a multi-language extension. If you don't use JoomFish, this section is not important for you, you can skip it.

Main Language
You can select main language of your site so that the language code wont be appended to the URLs of that language.

Insert language code
You can prepend the language code to URLs. If set to YES, the URLs will be like www.yourdomain.com/en

Translate URL
Here you can set if the URLs will be translated according the translated title in Joom!Fish. For example, if in Turkish the article URL is “www.yourdomain.com/takim-uyeleri.html”, in English it'll be "www.yourdomain.com/team-members.html"

Append ItemID to SEF
If is set to Yes, the ItemID will appended to SEF URL. This is useful if you are having problems related with duplicated URLs and want to have unique URLs.

Remove trailing slash
If you select ”No”, category links will have a trailing slash at the end of url. If your site is new, this is not important for SEO but if you used to another SEF component, set this parameter same. Because, search engines sense them 2 different page. For example, if the category title is “Support” and it's set to YES, the SEF URL will be “support”, otherwise it'll be “support/” .

Tolerant to trailing slash
Accept both SEF URLs that do or do not end with trailing slash as valid.

Redirect to www
If set to Yes, a 301 redirection will be done from non-www to www included URLs.

Strip characters
Characters to remove from URL. Mostly these are characters that are not supported by server configuration.

Unicode (UTF-8) URLs
If set to Yes, UTF-8 characters will be allowed in SEF URLs for languages such as Arabic, Persian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Greek etc. Do not forget to check also this article.

Char replacement list
Characters non accepted in URL, such as non-latin or accented, can be replaced as per this replacement table. Format is xxx|yyy for each replacement rule. xxx is the character to be replaced, whereas yyy is the new character.
