"Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument" error

It is possible that Joomla! is unable to create AceSEF tables in your database.
So if you get this message while using AceSEF, please take a look at your database (e.g. via phpMyAdmin) to see if the installation script has created "TablePrefix_acesef_extensions", "TablePrefix_acesef_urls" and "TablePrefix_acesef_urls_moved" tables correctly.
If not, you must create them manually.
The SQL queries, which install AceSEF tables into your database, are saved in install.sql file. You will find this file in the AceSEF component ZIP package. Just copy all SQL queries and run them in e.g. phpMyAdmin. But beware, because the names of tables are prepared for system installation, so they contain '#__' instead of your table prefix, you must rename them:
#__acesef_extensions to TablePrefix_acesef_extensions
#__acesef_urls to TablePrefix_acesef_urls
#__acesef_urls_moved to TablePrefix_acesef_urls_moved
TablePrefix is the prefix you selected while installing Joomla! 1.5 (it is mostly 'jos_' and it should differentiate the Joomla! tables from other tables used in your database). Make sure that you delete #_ at the start of the line; you only need one _ {underscore}. Do this for all queries.
