Virtuemart pagination - Virtuemart pagination 7150

Hi my Virtuemart pagination is not working correct. When on a sub-menu page if I click on page 2 or above it jumps to page to 2 at the top of the menu tree.

so if on page www.domain.com/menu-name/sub-menu-name.html and I click on any of the pages in the pagination links
it jumps to   www.domain.com/menu-name/page-2.html

I have tried making changes to the 'Items per page' in the virtuemart extension but with no luck, I purged and cleared cache for all url's between changes.  If I disable AceSEF pagination works correctly.

Kind regards
