SSL and HTTPS in Virtuemart
It seems that when I force SSL on my Virtuemart system with the ACESEF extension that it returns an error 404. Is their a solution to allow SSL and SEF to work together?

Which 404 error do you get? Any screenshot plz?
Have you set to Yes the "Force SSL" option in AceSEF=>Configuration=>Advanced tab?

No I have not set the force SSL screenshot in the advanced tab, because when I do that it turns the whole site to SSL and none of the links work.
Instead I put the Virtuemart menu item to use SSL : ON
but then I get the error when I click on the links from the virtuemart rewrite. Screenshot attached.

As you can see the URL has been re-written with HTTPS as I want - put with SEF extension enabled no page will show up.

This is the "server side" 404 page 
Does it works with AceSEF off Joomla SEF on?
