Previously working URLs becoming 404

Hi!

I noticed some URLs resulting a 404 after some time. I took a look at one of these and found the following real URLs:

index.php?option=com_content&catid=50&directory=145&view=article         index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=149&catid=50&id=2196&view=article

After I deleted the first URL the SEF URL is working again and pointing to the proper article. As far as I know this "directory=145" thing is the alphacontent components ID. Is this because maybe these URLs were generated before I installed the alphacontent sef extension, or the sef extension is buggy?

Re: Previously working URLs becoming 404

On the second hand I also encountered an other bug in alphacontent extension. Articles in the same category get the same URL as the first listed article.

Edit: not the extension's bug but the JoomAce itself, because I also encounter it when alphacontent extension is disabled.

Re: Previously working URLs becoming 404

Firstly, the name of the component is not JoomAce but AceSEF.

Secondly, the directory=145 is added by AlphaContent, disable SEF totally and check it yourself. However it will be removed by Content extension in the next verison. Same URLs for articles in category has been fixed but the bug was neither in AceSEF nor in AlphaContent extension but in AlphaContent component because it adds the com_alphacontent instead of com_content as option.

2. my locked urls became 404
