Upgrade error

Acesef 1.5 seems to be in a really buggy state right now, like when you hit the upgrade button to go from 1.3.13 or w/e to 1.5 Acesef totally break on you, some 1.5 Acesef Extensions are broke and Acesef 1.5 doesn't recognize all installed components, Acesef 1.5 also returns errors for non extensions components!!! So for right now If I was you I would just wait a couple days to upgrade till everything is sorted out.

Re: Upgrade error

Yes, I also have the same problem, when I update to acesef1.5, my site is down, I am lucky that I have backup the file before update to acesef1.5.

Secondly, I uninstall the acesef 1.3.13, and install acesef1.5, there is still some problem. acesef 1.5 said I have some problem at ".htaccess" which is ok in acesef1.3.13, and only show some extensions.

I hope joomace team sovle the problem and release a more stable version soon.

Re: Upgrade error

All what you have to do is to upgrade all extensions too.
We've strictly tested all type of upgrades and didn't have any error, if there is we'll fix, could you plz provide us a super admin account via our tickets system plz about the not recognizing all installed components?

Ratings/Reviews on the Joomla Extension Directory are always appreciated.

Hi, I also have the same problem after uodateing to 1.5. Trying to update the extensions does not work, I get the message that there is no download ID. I had entered the ID's in the last version but cannot find anywhere to enter them in version 1.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Upgrade error

You can download extensions from our site:
http://www.joomace.net/e-shop/account

Then upload them in Extensions page.

If you use AceSEF, please support us by posting a rating and a review at the Joomla Extension Directory

Re: Upgrade error

I can't recommend an upgrade, too.

I've upgraded AceSEF via automatic upgrade from 1.3.13 to 1.5.0 and (manually) upgraded all extensions on one of our sites without success. No page/URL was accessible anymore and any page gave a "500 Internal Server Error" back. I tried to delete some blocked URLs, in hope they would cause the problems. After this, also all Custom URLs disappeared. Also I found three new folders above the websites root created by AceSEF.

Now I'm restoring the whole site.

Site configuration before upgrade:
Joomla! v1.5.20
AceSEF v1.3.13
Joom!Fish v2.0.4
K2 v2.3
CKForms v1.3.5
YOOtheme Explorer Template 5.5.3
Open Source Excellence PHP Anti-Hacker 2.1.00

Best regards,

Hans
