Hello.
I am moving to a new site under the same domain name and I would like to make a 301 Redirect for few of the pages in order not to harm my Google rank.
Is the "Moved URL" feature is equivalent to the 301 Redirect command?

Yes sir, you can use it for internat/external 301 redirects.
