Zoo extensions tags url problem - Forums Task Topic Id 6824
Zoo extensions tags url problem
The tag is at the final of the url. base_url/aticle_name/tag_name.
It should be better make the tags urls like wordpress. base_url/tags/tag_name.
The the is doing it right now confuse search engeniee.
I can we get this better.

Here is one. But you can see all in "noticias" section, in the details of each news there are tags and to all is the same.

In your example the URL structure is base_url/menu_name/tag_name . For now, we can only add tags ( base_url/menu_name/tags/tag_name ) to URL I mean we can't remove menu_name but it'll be possible with AceSEF 1.5 that will be released soon.

I think the best way to do it is like wordpress. base_url/tags/tag_name. You think this will be posible soon??
What do you mean with (base_url/menu_name???/tags/tag_name) menu_name, its the article name or the section name???

Of course, base_url/tags/tag_name is the best but not possible for now. However, it'll be with AceSEF 1.5.

ok this wa y you say is also corect for me, and how can i make base_url/menu_name/tags/tag_name in stead of how is working now in my web = base_url/article_name/tag_name???

Your current URL structure of Tags is "base_url/menu_name/tag_name" not "base_url/article_name/tag_name". To add tag:
OPEN

administrator/components/com_acesef/extensions/com_zoo.php
FIND
Code:
$title[] = $tag;
ADD BEFORE
Code:
$title[] = 'Tags';

when i make your change, the url i get is http://www.vivetarifa.com/tarifa-bikes- … rifa/tags. = base_url/article_name/tags(like a static word). If i dont make the change the url is http://www.vivetarifa.com/tarifa-bikes- … /tag_name. Thats why i said the strcuture now of the tags is base_url/article_name/tag_name.
I think this is confuse for users and the more important for search engine. I think the best think to do is stop using tags and wait until the 1.5 version. When do you think you will have it???

Apply carefully the changes plz, I said ADD BEFORE not REPLACE.
