free to paid Pro 6 installation problem

Thanks for the reply.

1. As I mentioned, I had already set the attributes to '777'.

2. I've attached screenshots of the AceSEF configuration and what the installer returns for your review.

3. I'm the webmaster for the account that purchased AceSEF Pro 6 on my recommendation. The order confirmation and download instructions are also attached as a screen shot.


 

 



The FTP functionality (if that's what you mean by 'layer') is set up and I've been using it all day.

Your statement about a 'not compatible Joomla server' is confusing...how could I have installed the 'Free' version on my Joomla environment if it wasn't on a Joomla supported server?

Any other suggestions or insight from the attached screen shots would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for the reply.

As I mentioned, I had already set all directories and files to '777' attribute.

Here are screen shots at the directory and file level to prove it.

Why would the install say that the upgrade was successful yet return the errors that the files are unwriteable?

I'm using FileZilla as I do for over a dozen client sites that also use Joomla and this is the first time and application that I've had this problem with.

I would like to use AceSEF on the other sites as well if I can't get through this problem.

Any other suggestions?

The administrator/language files are now set to '777'. Should I try the re-install now or do you have anything else to check?
