Upgrade problems 1.1 to 1.2

My first attempts were gave errors relating to administrator language directories I did not have, specifically: da-DK, hu-HU and sl-SI. It claimed the upgrade had been made successfully but the version number reported remained at 1.1

After creating these directories and retrying I got the attached error but now it claims to be at version 1.2. http://www.joomace.net/components/com_agora/img/members/1283/Screen_shot_2009_11_09_at_6.jpg

Do you think it's ok?

Re: Upgrade problems 1.1 to 1.2

I too have a frustrating error relating to the upgrade.  I had previously uninstalled Acesef on the site in question, or so I thought.  Trying to reinstall, I get the following message:

Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/bpcom/public_html/components/com_acesef"
Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/bpcom/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef"

I tried renaming these files but that only produced a whole new set of messages of similar ilk and renaming only produced further messages!

How does one effect a fresh, clean install?

Re: Upgrade problems 1.1 to 1.2

First post, there is no problem to trouble, go ahead wink

Second post, delete those folders, delete from phpMyAdmin acesef tables then install AceSEF again.
