several articles with the same title have same url

There is a huge problem with links to articles which have the same title.

example:
Title of the article
becomes in a sef-url:
/title-of-the-article

But when there are 2 or more articles with the same title the urls are the same and they all link to the same article!

I had this problem before with sh404sef, so I altered my content manager (Pages-and-Items) to make unique alias for each article. But acesef is making the sef-url from the article's title and not from the alias.

How can I alter the com_content-plugin to make sef-urls based on alias instead of title?
