"〈" url param incorrectly displayed
"〈" url param incorrectly displayed
"〈" url param incorrectly displayed
Hello,
I noticed that in the backend of AceSEF if you go to SEFURLs and you look at the real URLs there are some sort of problem with the lang parameter in the url.
The first link I see under the "real urls" column is : index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=1?=fr&view=frontpage
It should be : index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=1&lang=fr&view=frontpage
In the database, I actually see this : index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=1&lang=fr&view=frontpage
Is this a joomfish issue or an AceSEF issue?
Any clue how/where to solve this?
See printscreens below for details...
Regards,
Michel

Re: "〈" url param incorrectly displayed
If you click on the URL you'll see that the URL is correct, just a displaying issue.
Re: "〈" url param incorrectly displayed
To which one?
Re: "〈" url param incorrectly displayed
Sorry for the confusion, in my example above the link is actually a link to the homepage.
The problem is that every other links too, like a link to a specific article, will redirect to the homepage (french one which is default) if there is that weird charcter 〈 in it.
Re: "〈" url param incorrectly displayed
Even if it works fine for me I've added this issue to our tracker.

I had the exact same issue in sh404sef before I switched to acesef. Aslo with the 'lang' parameter. Maybe got something to do with charset.

Re: "〈" url param incorrectly displayed
As I said, its just a view issue, to fix it:
OPEN
administrator/components/com_acesef/views/repository/default.php
FIND
substr($row->url_real, 0, 173)
REPLACE WITH
htmlentities(substr($row->url_real, 0, 173))
