SOBI2 - Category URL's are not working
SOBI2 - Category URL's are not working
SOBI2 - Category URL's are not working
Whe using the main page of my SOBI2 component the system give 404 errors when clicking on the categories. If I go in to the ACESEF control panel and disable ACSEF they category links work again. An example of a category on my site is Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Surfing etc.

I have tried with and without item id's and category ids' in the uRLS and purged URLS between tests. Used new browser too. I confirmed plugin for Sobi2 is installed. I am running sobi2 2.9.2.3 on joomla 1.5.14 and acesef 1.1.3

I did try that. I also shut off level 3 cache. I cleared them all and the system cache before testing. Cleared the browser and tested with a new one.
Still 404 error.
Another way to clear the 404 is to set the sobi2 extension to "ACESEF Basisc Rewrite".Then everything works. When set "ACESEF extension" the errors comeback. The directory category "Fun stuff listgings" seems to be particularly troublesome.

Can you set the Meta Tags generation to No for SOBI2 extension then purge URLs plz?

still not working
meta tags=no
level 2 cache = no
purged urls
cleared second and 3rd level cache in sobi
cleared system cache
router =ACESEF extension
Changing routers to ACESEG Basic rewrite allows to work but URL are not as nice. Let me know if you want back end access to my system to take a look.

Denis further research shows that the URLS for some categories just are not being built. It is very easy to recreate the issue. Just pruge URL's and it consistently reappears. Then I rebuild them manually and they work again. I see another user had the same issue in the other thread? Any solutions?

Can you give me the Real & SEF URLs of these cats plz? The one that is built OK and the one of that have problems.

When SEF is enabled and Router is set to Ace BASIC Rewrite the following URL is generated. And works.

When SEF is enabled and Router is set to ACE Extenstion the following URL is generated and does not work.
http://www.waterhound.com/water-sports- … ities.html
The URL with joomla core sef to this section is (and works)

The real URL is
http://www.waterhound.com/index.php?opt … p;Itemid=2
HOwever I have to get that realURL from the front end with SEF disabled. NO URL is being built for this category at all inside ACESEF.
