translated to:
mydomain.com/groups/groups/create-new-group


Also an important question.
What about à, è, ù letters?
in Jomsocial's translation I used:
&egrave, &ugrave....

and urls are translated like this:
gruppi/gruppi/con-pi&ugrave-messaggi-in-bacheca

Another problem.

I've just added a submenu for "community" and links are like this:

mydoman.com/profile/cc-profile
mydomain.com/friends/cc-friends

and now links of the Jomsocial toolbar are:

mydomain.com/friends/username/cc-friends
mydomain.com/profile/username/cc-profile

They looked right before I addedd the menu.

I had this problem too.  For me the solution was as simple as adding:

CC-PHOTOS=Photos

CC-PROFILE=Profile

CC-GROUPS=Group

CC-FRIENDS=Friends

CC-PENDING APPROVAL=Pending Approval

to /language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_hellome.ini

Then I had to purge jomsocial URLs from the extension, and clear my joomla and browser caches and it worked perfectly.
