As you know I have had a number of problems with the TPLancers extension, and again I have had to disable it.

I think this follows on from the (apparently solved) problems in the thread

There are still major problems with “Accept”, “Decline”, “Retract” and “Rate” as follows:-

SEF URL - accept
Real URLs
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=17&task=acceptbid
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=21&task=acceptbid
etc
Effect: The wrong freelancer is shown as “Acccepted” and the wrong project is shown as won by that freelancer.

SEF URL - decline
Real URLs
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=17&task=denybid
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=21&task=denybid
etc
Effect: The wrong freelancer is shown as “Declined” and the wrong project is shown as declined by that freelancer.

SEF URL - retract
Real URLs
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=17&task=retractbid
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=21&task=retractbid
etc
Effect: The wrong bid is shown as “Retracted”

SEF URL - rate
Real URL
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=3&task=rate
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=4&task=rate
etc
Effect: Message “No right to rate this user”. I unpublished the URLs, then got 404s. I deleted the SEF URLs and then it worked.

I think with all of the above, like the problems in the above thread, it’s because the SEF URLs generated are not specific to the Project or the User, hence the confusion.

He have updated TPLancers Extension and your firt 3 problems has been tested and fixed, but we can not say the same thing for the last problem because we did not find the URL. Plz check the last version and write if your problem will be appear again.

I'm not sure about "Rate" yet, I will let you know.

However, I have another major problem now, with release of escrow funds - relescrow.

The same SEF URL is created for all:
relescrow

Non SEF URLs
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=10&task=relescrow
id = all the numbers 2 through 16 (for example)

A buyer was trying to make two escrow releases to the same freelancer. The buyer did one escrow release which worked ok. Trying to do the second one from the same buyer, clicking "release escrow" and nothing happens. This was trying to release escrow id 9.

We deleted the SEF URLs "relescrow" with real urls ids 2-8. It still did not work.

We then deleted all the remaining "relescrow" urls. Then it worked.

Any ideas?

Further to the last posting:-

1) SEF URL relescrow
A buyer, who had escrows to two different freelancers was trying to make an escrow release to one freelancer but the wrong escrow was released to the wrong freelancer.

We deleted all the SEF URLs "relescrow". It still did not work.

2) SEF URL rating (not "rate" as specified in the last posting)

Real URL index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=16&task=rate
index.php?option=com_tplancers&id=19&task=rate
etc also for 20,21,22

The buyer was trying to rate the freelancer but gets a message "No right to rate this user"
We unpublished the SEF URL and he now gets a 404
We deleted the SEF URLs - then it selects the wrong project of same buyer with a different freelancer.

These are serious problems and need to be solved!

Further to the above posting there is one more similar problem when a New Project is posted as follows:-

Not logged-in users who click on the new project are taken to the Log-In page. The New Project should be viewable by public users.
Logged-in users who click on the new project get a 404.

One SEF url is created from the new project title and there are a few real URLs created with the same SEF URL. One of the real URLs is of the form:-
index.php?option=com_tplancers&Itemid=nn&id=n&task=bdetpro

The workaround is to unpublish the real URL as above and set the "Use" parameter for one of the correct real URLs.

We need a solution for this too please.
