I use AceSEF VIP with the K2 Extension. Works excellent except one thing.

Any time I add an attachment to a K2 Item for visitors to download at the bottom of an item/article, they end up downloading a different attachment from a different K2 Item.

This is because AceSEF is creating the url /download.html and that points to the first ever attachment.

How do I turn off AceSEF for K2 attachments?

Do I add something like



To the AceSEF K2 Extension in the Common Parameters?

I've unpublished the URL but this doesn't seem to fix it. Same with locking the unpublished URL.

Any other ideas?

Go to "AceSEF=>Extensions=>K2=>Common Parameters" and add "task=download" to "disable-SEF variables" list. After that, delete all download SEF links for K2. Don't forget to clean cache, if you've set extensions parameters to cache.

Trying it out now...

Worked! Added a new attachment and when I clicked the link on the front end, it wanted to download the correct attachment. Thanks again!
