Everything is related with SOBI2 second and third caches. Make sure you've disabled these and purged SOBI2 cache and Joomla cache. Disable SobiSef plugin then purge AceSEF URLs and check the issue again.

Both caches were off. I purged both 3rd level, and main cache.
then purged sobisef repository to be sure, then went to acesef, purged urls, installed 1.3.3 sobiplugin, then purged again, then browsed to sobi2 and beheld same issue.

Really strange but something was broken in the SOBI2 extension in joomace.net but not in mine I uninstalled it and installed mine and it works like a charm...

I overwrote the joomace.net ones, can you plz send me the SOBI2 extension you've downloaded so I could check the code again?

OK, issue solved, I remember that Gilbert added automatic item description generation but we used the default description field. However, your item description field is different, that's why no SEF URLs where generated for items. I've added an option and field for this in the new version.
