What is your AceSEF version?
What is your Joomla version?
What is your PHP version?
What is your MySQL version?
Are you using a UNIX/Linux or Windows based server?
Confirmation that works as expected using the core Joomla SEF (with AceSEF disabled)?
Have you tried to change the Router from AceSEF=>Extensions page?
Are you using caches? If yes, have you tried to disable them all?

I'm already regretting paying for this software,

over 6 weeks ago this problem was reported, this is taking far too long. We're not talking about a minor bug here, AceSEF claims joomla 1.7 compliance, but if it can't handle a core feature (and yet does handle third party components like joomfish, which by the way does not support joomla 1.7) it makes it useless to anyone who wants to make a multi-lingual website

Please Solve this, one of the reasons I paid for a pro account is to have support

I am facing the same problems, see topic www.joomace.net/support/forums?func=view...tid=53&id=24372.

I also added an XML issue, because with the current AceSEF XML Sitemap, Google has problems with crawling using the sitemap.

I hope that we will have a solution very quick. If i had read this post earlier i would not have purchased the component. My own fault, but this is a good case for Joomace to prove them selfs.

I just got a confirmation from our devs that the new version with this issue fixed will ne released within a couple of days.

This issue has been fixed in AceSEF 1.7.1:
www.joomace.net/joomla-extensions/acesef/changelog

Follow these steps after upgrade process:

1. Set to Yes the "AceSEF=>Configuration=>URLs=>Enable multi-language" option
2. Tweek the other options in the "Language" part as you wish
3. Disable "System - Language Filter" plugin
4. Delete all URLs
5. Browse your site

Thank you for the update. The SEF in the Front end is working fine now!!

Remark:
When the language filter is Enabled and i save the configuration a warning is displayed, but i think the text link is missing, the warning says:
ACESEF_CPANEL_STATUS_NOTE_LANGUAGEFILTER
