How to get the AceSEF automatic Metadata to be respected by core modules like Related Articles? I've tried every permutation of Save/Apply in the configuration screen, I think.

What do you exactly mean with "respected by"? You want AceSEF to create Metadata for modules?

Just "used by". The AceSEF metadata doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Core metadata, because when I look at the article itself, the metadata fields are empty.

How does the AceSEF metadata get copied into the Core fields so that it's accessible to modules, tagging, etc.?

That's not possible, AceSEF uses it's own table to store metadata and other stuff. Sorry.

So the AceSEF configuration allows substituting the AceSEF keywords, descriptions, etc. for SEO purposes, but not really for on-site use, like Related modules, etc.?

Do you know the table name where that data's stored?

Really, it should be a simple update query to stick the AceSEF metadata into the Joomla metadata fields, right?

Is there any reason to not do this?

I'm really interested in that topic, I have the same issue.
AceSEF is really powerfull but I'm just wondering why using some different tables ?
And like Ken Lyle, if I fill in the metadata fields of joomla content table with the same data, is that bad ?
Or I should change the code of my modules ? to retrieve data from AceSEF tables and not joomla content ?

Thanks for the vote. It seems easier to modify AceSEF to write into the core tables, than to modify all the modules and ScribeSEO which work with the core meta fields.

If you have any code for any of these approaches, I'd love to see it.

That's what I think too, so right now I'm looking at the code of AceSEF.

And I need to add a generator of keywords for Japanese content. (In japanese the words are not separated by spaces (like: myenglishisbadbutidomybesttobeunderstood.. so I need to add some news code for that language ^^))

I'm almost done with it
(I mean the add meta in joomla content table, but not yet my japanese feature)

EDIT: Btw are you a Pro/VIP member ? Because I've patched only the functions used by a Basic/Plus user. And as it's patched, it means if you have an update of AceSEF.. You will lose my patch If you're developper you won't mind, but just want to warn you about that
