I need to send the registered user to my site with a URL to his mail for activation. Currently I am sending the non-sef url for the activation like www.mywebsite.com/index.php?option=signp...mID=69&activate=.

Now I want the SEF URL for this activation URL to send to the user for the activation. How can I generate the SEF Url for this.

I have searched the site for this issue, but not found any.

Also, one quick question. Currently I have installed the Free AceSEF for testing. I want to buy the Plus - AceSEF. Do we have any difference in installing or managing these tools.

What is the component you're using for registration? Can you plz post here the "exact" (without domain) non-SEF URL plz?

yes, that is the non SEF URL. I want the sef url for that link. the value for the activate would be dynamic, which is encrypted for each user.

Then go to AceSEF=>SEF URLs and click on New button then:

SEF : signup/activate
Real: index.php?option=com_pwsignup&task=ActivateEmail&Itemid=69

Then add this URL in your confirmaiton mail
signup/activate?activate=

signup/activate?var1=value1&var2=value2 I mean the first should start with ? then others with &
