TOPIC: Problems upgrading from - Forums Func View Catid 69 Id 7357

Hello,

My website is working very well under 1.5.4. In the control panel oh AceSEF, I can see that there is a latest version : 1.5.5.
I do the upgrade from the server. The upgrade works normaly.

But all my menu links are changes so I get an 404 error on each pages.

I'll try to make an simple example of the trouble's links :
My first redirection of a page were : www.site.com/the-car
Somme weeks ago, i changed it to : www.site.com/car
It was working very well under 1.5.4
After 1.5.5 installation, my link is www.site.com/the-car but it doesn't works anymore. It should be www.site.com/car only.

What can I do ?

EDIT :

The problem was in the free package file. It is solved now. Just re-install the package.

I think you have the same problem as mine.
I just update acesef from 1.54 to 1.55
I don't know why, but acesef just not worked. Even dont show "joomla seo by Acesef".
I checked everything:
PHP Version 5.2.14
.htaccess File OK
AceSEF Enabled
System - AceSEF plugin Enabled
Generate new SEF URLs Enabled
Joomla! Global SEF URLs Enabled
Apache mod_rewrite Enabled
Joomla! version 1.5.21
I report this issue, and Engin Yilmaz email me the issue was fixed. But after I updated ACEsef to 1.55 it still working!!!
I couldn't found where can i download the 1.54. So my website was working under 1.3 version. By the way, the 1.3 didn't show the "SEO by ACEsef" neither???
Who could help me? please..........

AceSEF seems to be disabled, but in reality this option is enabled.

It seems the same for me.

My menu name is the car that would explain why I have a link in www.site.com/the-car.
But in AceSEF, I haven't change anything, the link from the article url is redirect to www.site.com/car.

The problem append on the 1.5.20 of joomla. I have now updated joomla to 1.5.21 but I haven't try again to upgrade AceSEF. I haven't tried neither to do the upgrade manualy...

Same problem, today I have updated acesef from 1.5.4 to 1.4.5 and now the urls are wrong and the component property don't work fine
Only joomla links work fine.
