TOPIC: Upgrade from 1.20 Plus to 1.34 Pro
#6683
Upgrade from 1.20 Plus to 1.34 Pro 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Tried to upgrade using the latest zip file however I got a load of "unable to execute SQL" statements and SEF stopped working. I had to restore the site from the backup. can you please post some clear instructions on how to update/upgrade the component.

I can't seem to be able to find any incremental files to move from 1.20 to 1.34.

Also it would be very useful if you included the version number in the name of the zip archive com_acesef_pro.zip is not very informative.

thanks
Paul

In the downloaded ZIP file the upgrade/1.2.0.php is included.

I would suggest you to:
1. Export all your URLs
2. Uninstall AceSEF
3. Install the new version
4. Import all URLs.

You can also check the SEF URLs and Import/Migrate items of our User Manual.
