TOPIC: Upgrade -> nothing happen

Automatic update or manual gives the same since Acesef 1.5.12. Joomla goes white and nothing happen. No way to update anymore. Thanks for your help.

You versions info (Joomla, PHP etc.)?
What are the AceSEF extensions you're using?
Have you tried to open the "Global Configuration=>System=>Debug System" and set to "Maximum" the "Global Configuration=>Server=>Error Reporting" refresh the white page after update? You should receive an error message there.

I got the same blank white page when trying to upgrade from 1.5.11 to 1.5.13. I enabled debugging and retried the update. Here's the error message I received:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function json_encode() in /localdata/mywebsite/tmp/install_4d2498442d3c5/upgrade/1.5.12.php on line 26

Joomla is 1.5.22
PHP is 5.1.6
ACESEF is 1.5.12

went smoothly from 1.5.11 to 1.5.12
I am using SEF + internal links

the update does not work on any of my sites

Debug mode provide no specific message since it's white screen and nothing else.

For both, ask you hosting company to upgrade the PHP version to 5.2.0 at least.

just updated to PHP 5.2.16 and the update worked fine.

I am required to keep PHP 5.1.6 (my Operations team will not allow me to update it). Can you recommend another way to upgrade AceSEF from 1.5.11 to 1.5.13? Thanks.

Ok update went fine but now a new problem occured. Flushed all the links and cache and now the page are not coming at first. A white page is displayed instead and the debug mode reports the following:

500 - JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Xolo',.............' at line 1 SQL=INSERT IGNORE INTO xxxxxx_acesef_metadata (url_sef, title, description, keywords) VALUES.........

This word "Xolo" is one of the internal links.

Since I update the PHP from 5.1.16 to 5.2.16 should I update mysql too?

What is the version needed for running ACESEF 1.5.13?

Actual version is 5.0.77

I'm sorry but that's not possible because 1.5.13 requires PHP 5.2.0 or higher to work.
