Using auto-upgrade to 1.5 let to bit distorted AceSEF (see attachments), but it functioned, as did auto-upgrade.

Now I try updating in the same way from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3 and the system errors: no file selected.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Which language are using in backend?
Make sure your Download-ID is valid in AceSEF=>Configuration.

Hi Denis,

Backend is in Dutch.

I had already checked the downloadID, but will do so again.

Delete this file, Dutch lang is not ready yet:
administrator/language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_acesef.ini

I just tried on a live site and it worked fine, make sure your "Path to Temp-Folder" is valid in Joomla's Global Configuration.

Thanks, deleting the file fixed the strange button view.

I've checked the Path to Temp-Folder. It's valid as far as I can tell and more important: it hasn't changed since the other upgrades.
TitleWhen I click 'upgrade from JoomAce server' it still replies 'no file'.
When using the downloaded zip file (com_acesef_vip.zip) manually, it doesn't give any message and just loads the screen again.

FF is my default browser, I now also tried Chrome and IE but no luck.
Any last resorts? Can I manually (FTP) upgrade? Or is there a definite way to check whether my tmp folder is okay?
