After configuration of ACESef and extensions we experience problem with URL update. We cleaned cash, deleted all old URLs, tried to create new URLs from URL section but it fails as there are over 9000 urls (first mistake was virtual memory after increasing it we get unknown error message). URL purge does not work - error.

1. Despite configuration AceSEF use alias from K2 categories to create Menu links (not titles of menus). Menu linked to K2 categories but have different titles.
2. Same story with Jomsocial main - it returns jomsocial alias as url instead of the menu title.
3. Alfaregistration is not working or not found by he link "registration "either extension downloaded and configured. It aapears that link in login module of jomsocial is different from one in Jomsocial home page (works) and generated in menu items (works). We tried to redirect wrong URL to the right one vie Moved URL function but have no effect it is not updated and goeas same wrong direction.
4. Custom URl does not working - no URLs saved.
5. Internal links do not work. Probably because URLs are not updated.

Probably we should some how update URLs manually? It looks like there is just a mess of ald and new URLs generated at different time rather than any malfunction of the system.

Honestly I do not quite understand the logic of the URL update, cache clean up. Bug? Lack of documentation? We think that it has nothing with our website specific - it is core aceSEF malfunction or wrong administration logic. For example Artio has just two buttons - purge URLs and create URLs and it does what it say. What a hell is wrong with ACE?

I understand that there is no much time for such requests but we have a live website and now registration fails, links do not work etc. We can not wait forever and need this issue solved now.

If you would not reply asap I will leave a detail and very interesting overview of the core functionality FAILURE of aceSEF in Joomla extension directory and will request immediate refund of the payment. I do not think that you would have a sales via Joomla community afterwards and all you ad campaign will be waisted. For the new project like yours it could be the end. We beleived you and paid to you with a hope that ACE IS WORKING. It does not now. Fix it!

As soon as component is configured and launched it should do what it says - generate URLs as configured not producing mess in the website. Please asap provide assistance on possible solution. We can not update URLS with aceSEF but believe that it is possible.

First of all, AceSEF is not a new project, it has wear off over 1 year and we've been providing SEF solutions for 2 years (starting from Artio, %80 of their extensions has been done from us) so we're not afraid of 1 review on any site because we've TONS of users/customers that rely to us.

Regarding your issues:
1, 2 Example URLs plz, what do you expect and what do you recieve? Make sure you've checked the "Skip prefix/menu" variable in Extensions page:

3. Plz, write maximum information describing the problem, such as full error outputs, behaviour, SEF & Real URLs, screenshots, confirmation that SEF URLs working as expected using the core Joomla SEF.
4. What's the URL you're trying to create?
5. Internal Links works fine, you can see it in action (AceSEF, SEF URLs words) in the following page. Make sure that the "Enabled" option is check in the Internal Links tab of URL edit page, selected the component from AceSEF=>Configuration=>Internal Links page and selected the proper Affected Area. Provide us more concrete examples if it continues.

Update URLs and Purge URLs works fine for me and all here, what kind of error do you recieve? Also ARTIO JoomSEF does not have any Create URLs button.

We have selected your component because it offers musch more than Atrio. If it is possible to solve technical issues it would be nice. Unfortunately currently we experience technical problems with ACE. Those problems could be either because of the lack of docs that we do not understand what actually should be done to make it run smoothly or because website is too large for it.



1,2 - yes we see now that our menu acctualy has nobthing to do with menu Titles it uses K2 categories.

We have found this URL in the list : real url: index.php?option=com_user&task=register , sef url: user/register (red link)

Obviously it is something in between Ace-Jomscoail_alphareistration redirects. When we uninstall Alparegistration URL opens up Jomscoial native registration form without problem.

4. I have tried to create custom URL to Alpha registration component as it was before installation of SEF. When I try to create custom URL - it simply nothing creates. Just close the form and nothing added to the list. From the beggining it complained on index but later instead of error medssage just blicking something. index was present. Anyway it is not essential function for us so it could be ignored.
5. I have configured Configuration for Internal Link and created one link mentioned almost everywhere on the website. Cleaned cache, deleted URLs, tried to update URL - nothing. Just no link not in K2, not in articles, not in Kunena Forum (yes, we have set this parameter in Configuration).

UPDATE: Internal links work fine for latin characters but do not apply to cyrillic. Website is on Cyrillic Encoded in UTF8. Problem known with other internal link extensions.

Please do not hesitate to provide any information you may need to solve this problem.

OK, follow these steps plz:
1. Go to AceSEF=>Configuration=>URLs and make sure you've set to "Title field" the "Menu URL part" and "Use Title or Alias" options then click on save.
2. Go to AceSEF=>Extensions=>K2 and make sure you've set to "Use Global" all the URL part parameters then click on save.
3. Go to AceSEF=>Control Panel=>Purge/Update and select all options in URLs part then click on delete.
4. Go to the frontend of your website and start browsing

Please inform about problems with Alfaregistration and Internal Links

1. Alfaregistration do not launch due to some conflict between Ace-Jomsocial- alfaregistation. We uninstall AR and have normal launch of Jomsocial registration plugin. We installed AR have published direct linkl to AR as menu item - works fine but url is different www.mysite.com/registratsiya?view=register.. It seems to be that when we have registration process via Jomsocial www.mysite.com/user/register? l it can not redirect to it.

2. Internal Links works fine with latin characters but fail with Cyrillic. We have indentical items in IL manager - latin works fine cyrillic not. Issue is known with other IL components. Could you test it on your server with russian text to make sure that problem is not local?

1. Plz, check in AceSEF=>SEF URLs if you've duplicated URLs for these SEF: registratsiya and user/register. If yes, then set one of them as Used.
2. Could you plz post here some Cyrillic chars?
