Hi Denis!
I hope you can help me as in previous times...
I'm trying to use AceSef in one of my old sites, after upgrading it to the new version of joomla.
The site works OK, even If I use Joomla SEF the site works OK.
I'm using virtuemart & zoo components in this site, and obviously joomla redirect doesn't work with joomla SEF.
After installing AceSef with no problem all the site works extremely slow. I'm talking about 8-9 seconds per page, when before
it use to be 1-2 seconds.
I tried to use all the tricks you described in this post: www.joomace.net/support/forums?task=topi...=1&id=6341#p6450
But nothing works for me, and the load time is very slow.
Upps! I forgot to comment you that I took a look to my htaccess and is correct, and equal to the htaccess I use in my other sites that work OK with AceSef.
I don't know exactly what to do in the configuration od AceSef to get the correct load times.
¿Any Idea?

I'm so sorry, but I don't find the way to make work my site as fast as with joomla sef.
The page load is incredible slow with AceSef, and I don't know why.

It sounds like something revalent with your second site but I can't say anything without observing your site so can you plz provide us a super admin account via our Tickets System.

First, thanks for your fast answer considering that everyone are on holydays.
I have created an superadmin account for you, anyway, I think that I have finally found what's going wrong.
Actually, I've found when I was trying to make a backup of the database.
I've found, I think, the same possible error in two of my sites that use AceSef, and this error is located in the table "prefix_acesef_urls".
I'm not sure if this is really an error, but the "acesef_urls" table weights in one site 16.5 mbytes,
and in the site I told you that the page load is very slow weights 35.6 mbytes.
¿Is this a normal weight for this table?

Well, I hope no, of course, because I want to make regulary backups of the database by email,
and this weight overstep the weight accepted by my email program.
Direct to the point....
The possible fail is in the field 'sm_date'.
I don't know why but when AceSef collect all the info for redirect each link,
in the case of some -ZOO Links- & -VIRTUEMART Links-
this field 'sm_date' is filled with all the HTML of each redirected page.
And this is the reason that database weights no less than 35Mbytes.
And I think that this is the reason that my site was Extremely Slow after activate AceSef,
because the system must find results into a table of 35 Mbytes.
Weird! isn't it?
To understand better, I think is more clear to paste a piece of sql code of any of the sites:

And this behaviour keep on until the creation of the last link.
¿Is this behaviour normal?
Remember that his problem only happen in the case of ZOO links or VIRTUEMART Links
¿Are working AceSef as expected?
Well, I'm going to send you by Ticket System the superadmin account I created for you, although I think that the problem couldn't be my system, or modules, or plugings installed, but AceSef ZOO & Virtuemart Extensions, ¿Am I wrong?

These two sites are in production, and one of them is being indexed without you Marvelous AceSef Extension.

OK, that's clear, the issue consist on the "source" field, not "sm_date". Go to AceSEF=>Configuration=>Advanced=>Enable Source Tracker and set it to "No" then purge URLs.

Well, now the database seems to be created OK. Now, prefix_acesef_urls weights 106kbytes with 335 links created.
But, unfortunately, my site keep on being slow after activate AceSef.
I'm very tired and confused.
I thought I had found the problem, and now it's seems that this wasn't the problem.
Buaaaah! Buaaaah! (I'm crying with despair)
Just kidding!

I just checked your site and the load is not normal, I realized that you've some custom lines in .htaccess file, get a clean htaccess.txt from a Joomla installation package and try it plz.
