I've recreated URLs for my site and I was left with quite a few duplicate URLs which your component picked up and I was easily able to select one URL to be used which is great. The problem that I see coming is that for each user I need to select at least 10 URLs to be used, is it possible that the component does this for me as this could be quite time consuming depending on the amount of users I gain? What if I don't select a URL to be used?]]>

I've just created Jomsocial URLs with the latest Jomsocial Extension but they are firstly a mix of english and german (I need German) and some URLs use both at once;
Here friens is english freunde is german:
index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=169&view=friends
friends/freunde
same again for groups, my translation is Leihkreise:
index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=176&view=groups
groups/leihkreise
All URLs from groups start with /groups/ it should however only be /leihkreise/
also something similar with search german is suche
index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=172&view=search
advanced-search/suche
This behaviour is throughout, any ideas to get rid of the english.]]>

New jomsocial is having multiple issues since its latest release.
1) - if not logged into jomsocial and you go to the jomsocial front page it breaks template only shows 1 user avatar and the rest of the page is blank. If user is logged in it appears to come up.
example:
streetfightermedia.com/profile
when logged in as a user it points to:
streetfightermedia.com/your_profile
which is a customer url.
I check in the sef urls and the customer and this is what it shows:
/profile goes to index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=220
/your_profile goes to index.php?option=com_community&Itemid=220&view=profile
2) - i have several urls that point to the wrong locations say you click create group it points to view all groups instead.
3) - if i dont clean the cache every couple days i get nothing but error 500 on all my jomsocial pages.
if i turn off acesef. all these issues go away.]]>
And in ACESEF->URL I have just 1 link, don't have generate the other link.

I'm using CB 1.3.1, Joomla 1.5.22 and the latest AceSef and CB Extension version.
The URL for the logged in user profile is www.mysite.com/profile
The URL to a particular user profile of any user in the system is www.mysite.com/profile/username
The url www.mysite.com/profile/username gets only created if I click first on a link of a user - i.e. from the overall userlist and this is a manual step. I would like to have that URL automatically created after the user registration where I only www.mysite.com/profile available. But if the user i.e. wants to share his profile link i.e. via Facebook before any other user has every clicked his/her profile the link www.mysite.com/profile/username does not exists. It will be first generated if a particular CB Link (i.e. Link within the Userlist) gets clicked. Any ideas how I could make the UR Lwww.mysite.com/profile/username available without any manual steps ?

It was working perfectly before. Only started today when I installed the JomSocial extension of AceSEF.

You can use helper/heler to access backend. It's "Administrator" user. I can give you the super admin user to diagnose if you like as well? Just let me know where email ? or PM ? You can log into the website using your facebook email / pass to log in as a normal user in front end as well. I use JFBConnect component for the integration of facebook & Joomla.
Version info: Joomla 1.5.22, latest AceSEF, latest versions of extensions as well. JomSocial 2.0.6

With the component enabled the website only shows the home page and another random page. It does not matter which link (menu, buttons) I click I can see only one of the pages of my website.]]>
I'm using the VIP AceSEF component and blindly bought the extension for Fabrik, what i'm not really sure about is the advantage of using extensions as SEF URLs seem to be created without the use of the extension. I'm sure there's a good reason for the extensions but I don't know.
I was thinking about purchasing the extension for jomsocial but your component seems to do a good enough job without it

I have many URLs in the following format (I use the fabrik component quite often):
index.php?option=com_fabrik&c=form&task=details&Itemid=&fabrik=8&rowid=22&tableid=7&fabrik_cursor=0
What i'd love to be able to do is create URLs like this:
replace: index.php?option=com_fabrik&c=form&task=details
with: details
replace: &fabrik=8
with: formName
replace: &rowid=22
with: id=22
replace: &tableid=7&fabrik_cursor=0
with: tableName
So that i'd end up with: details/formName/id=22/tableName
This should however be created dynamically so that when I create a new table entry the id would change e.g. details/formName/id=23/tableName

Sorry of something similar has been posted before but I must admit that I'm a bit lost...
All the menus I previously created (before installing acesef) are based on the virtuemart link to categories. Every time I click on my menu, I go to the home page.
When I use a AceSef URL menu link, it works well but I don't want to refactor all my menus. Also, I deleted old menus who shared links with my main menu. I might miss something evident but what ? Thx for your help.
Also when I generate URL, the SEF URL to my categories are "doubled" with the last one (if I choose All categories or Only last one) so I get:
"men/men" for a link to a category and "heads/men/sticks/heads/bionic-head" for a article page.]]>
Currently, when I login into the site, I see: "mywebsite.com/profile"
When I generate the SEF URLs, I see the SEF URLs for 'real name' on each users profile. However, after I login as any user, a 'profile' SEF URL gets created and that is the one that jomsocial is using. I would like it so that when a user logs in, they see "mywebsite.com/realname".

Hi,
I just purchased the pro version. I like it so far, but I have few issues with it and I was forced to disable on the production site until you hopefully put me on the right track.
First, I tried to migrate from SH404sef but on 1 out of 520 urls are imported.
then i decided to do without the migration, but I can get to the alpharegistration page to crate new accounts. I get a message that says
Forbidden access
(Flooding). I downloaded the extension and tried all the possibilities but no luck.
Lastly, randomly I get the message "you log in first" on the home page and other public pages.
I hope all theses issues are link and I missed something that is easy to fix.

Hi, i've a problem with acesef plugin. The urls work fine but the metadata (title, desc, keys) are not replace. If i go on one page of sobi2 the metadata are the sobi2 metadata and not the acesef metadata.
In the administrator the metadata are writed fine for all sobi2 pages but in the frontend there're the sobi2 metadata. So the plugin don't overwrite this dates.
The cache is disable from joomla configuration and sobi2.
Why? How to overwrite the sobi2 metadata?

I have installed Jomace with Jomsocial extension.
I have problems with the original URLs. If I use an original url (for example index.php?option=com_community&view=friends&userid=63&Itemid=53) and the user does not exist I have the following errors:
Notice: Undefined index: meta_desc www/administrator/components/com_acesef/extensions/com_community.php on line 458
Then if I refresh the page , it is ok.
Also, I choose to redirect 404 errors to Frontpage, is it possible to change the ling to www.frontpage.com instead of keeping the wrong url
