Sitemap

You can create a sitemap in XML format for ALL components without any plugin obligation. In contrarily from other Joomla! sitemap components, you can manage ALL sitemap's items, can set different date, frequency, priority or include/disclude each sitemap's item.
The sitemap is saved in a static XML file which is the best method for spiders to find/crawl your sitemap. Also, be aware of the sitemap is static so you should click on "Generate XML" buton if you new URLs has been created.

State

This column shows the sitemap items' fields state in database. Green means there is a value stored in database for this item. I = Indexed, D = Date, F = Frequency, P = Priority

Save/Apply

To include the filtered items in sitemap you should click on save/apply after making the date, frequency and priority changes. If you've set to Yes the "Ping after Save" in AceSEF configuration, the sitemap will be pinged to Google, Yahoo! and Bing.

(un) Index

You can also include/disclude the filtered items in sitemap by clicking on "(un) Index" button after you've selected them.

Generate XML

This will write the items to the XML file you've set in AceSEF configuration.

Ping Google, Yahoo, Bing

This will ping the sitemap to Google, Yahoo or Bing so that spiders will be notified about the changes you've made.

Ping Services

Ping your sitemap to services such as pingomatic, technorati etc. Do not forget to add these services in AceSEF=>Configuration=>Sitemap=>Ping Services field.

Export Selected/Filtered

Because of the sitemap items are based on your URLs, you should not Purge your URLs without export/backup the items.
