Introducing AceShop, the ultimate Joomla Shopping Cart
Hi All,

I'm happy to announce our brand new component, AceShop, the ultimate Joomla Shopping Cart component. AceShop is a full-featured e-commerce component for Joomla with an easy to use, search engine friendly and a visually appealing interface.

1-dashboard 5-store-home

AceShop is the integration of two of the most popular open source projects in the world: OpenCart and Joomla! We developed AceShop so you could enjoy the power & flexibility of OpenCart and ease-of-use of Joomla! right inside your Joomla! site.

You may have heard such an integration from AyelShop, well, Ali from AyelShop has joined us so from now AyelShop will ship under JoomAce brand renamed to AceShop.

Integration Features

AceShop is a native Joomla! component, not bridge/iframe, and is installed just like all Joomla components. It integrates with Joomla SEF URLs & SEO (Metadata) including SEF components and of course, there is an AceSEF plugin for AceShop. User synchronization between Joomla & OpenCart is done automatically by AceShop.

AceShop fully supports Joomla 2.5 & JoomFish multi-language functionality so you can build multi-language shops instantly. It is also translated in more than 50 languages and integrates with Joomla search, Xmap and it automatically adaps the Joomla template so there is no template conflict.

And the best integration feature is that you can migrate easily from VirtueMart (1.1 & 2.x), HikaShop, redSHOP, Tienda, JoomShopping and RokQuickCart to AceShop just with 4 clicks.

Here you can find more about the Joomla-OpenCart intragration done by AceShop.

Shopping Cart Features

No limitations; Unlimited & Nested Categories, Unlimited Products, Unlimited Manufacturers, Unlimited domain installation, Unlimited domain support, Unlimited images possible for each product.
Feature-rich products; Product Reviews, Product Ratings, Product Options, Product Attributes, Product Attribute Groups, Product Tags, Product Returns, Downloadable (Digital) Products, Related Products, Compare Products, Products & Options Stock.
Plenty of extensions; 25+ Payment Gateways, 10+ Shipping Methods, 50+ Reports, 50+ Languages
Numerous of systems; Reward Point System, RMA System, Affiliate System, Credits System, Reorder System, Coupon & Gift Voucher System
Checkout; One-page checkout, Guest Checkout, AJAX based actions, Cart Currency converter, Multi Currency, Multi Tax Rates
Sales; Advanced Sales Reports, Product Returns, History of orders modifications, Printable Invoices, Custom order status, Google Analytics integration

And a lot more like SSL support, Multi Store, Internal ACL system, MVC system, 100% CSS (tableless) design etc. Here you can see the full feature list.

Why OpenCart?

Well, while AceShop is a new component, OpenCart is not a new project. OpenCart is a 5 years old e-commerce application. It has been selected in the Top 3 list of the Best e-Commerce Application by PackPub several times. It is designed in a modular way and has tons of Payment Gateways, Shipping Methods, Themes, Languages, Modules etc in it's Extensions Directory. So why re-invent the wheel by starting to write a component from scratch and wait for (min) 2-3 years until it gets to a stable and extension-rich level?

That's all for now, enjoy it!

Of course, AceShop automatically adapts your Joomla template, especially YooTheme templates.

I am about to integrate opencart (it looks great by the way!) with Joomla, but was wondering if you can tell me if I really need this product Aceshop. Users give it great reviews. Im wondering if you can tell me what are the advantages/disadvantages of using the product vs using only opencart with joomla. To me, (an Im by no means an expert) they look the same with many of the same features. Also, if I decide to get Aceshop, should I install it first into Joomla, then opencart? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!! Diane

Hi great idea finally to not invent the wheel again when there is other open source best of breed products for a open source "ecco" system.

I wish also that could be for openX adserver, Pentaho BI solution and Processmaker too :) ( Pentaho and Processmaker are already integrated)

Ps I had a token log in error here that means that you have set the cache on for this Joomla site and thats a long prevailing bug in Joomla core that hopefully is solved in the new Joomla 2.5.2 and coming versions. One of the most annoying things with Mootools and Jquery lib conflicts :)

should I also buy ACESEF if I need ACESEF feature, such as copyright removal, site map, and any other ACESEF features?
or AceShop already include all ACESEF full features?

AceShop works fine with AceSEF but they're different components so they're distributed separately.

The migration tool has been released about 1 month ago and is working fine. If you have any issue then use our Tickets System for support, this is not the place to get support.

The migration tool from AyelShop is missing from Aceshop 1.4.2. When I go to System > AceShop Migration Tools there is no option for AyelShop. There are 6 options there: Virtumart, Hikashop, Redshop, Tienda, Joomshopping and RokQuickCart. So, no longer a way to migrate from AyelSHop.
