AceSearch 1.5.9 released
Hi there,
We're happy to announce the new version of our Joomla Search component, AceSearch. This can be called a maintenance release as it includes more improvements than new features.
In this release, we've improved the searching mechanism for CCK components such as K2, ZOO, FLEXIcontent etc. and moved the Order By option from extensions based to global. The only but still important new feature is the module positions into the search results.
As you can see there is a banners module on the top of the search results. There are 2 module positions, acesearch_top and acesearch_bottom .
Do not forget to update all your 3rd party AceSearch extensions installed.

Only I am concern with the comparability with Joomla 1.7... I came to buy it now, hence asking for J1.7 version please.

I have installed the free version and running into a problem, the search result is displayed with a link at the bottom and the link doesnt work cause it has my website listed in the beginning followed by the article actual link, can anything tell me how to disable the link? i did set in the configuration the option "Show URL link" to No, but the link still shows at the bottom of each search result.
